Hit 'EM with the D was a team on a mission on Wednesday. The 2 seeded squad needed to win 2 games to take home the title, and they did just that. The champs put up a total of 47 runs over the 2 games, while only allowing 18 on defense. It was truly a dominant performance. In game 1 they were led by Marcus C's 4 for 5 at the plate, defeating #3 Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe. Game 2's victory over #1 JUST a Bit Outside avenged their only loss of the season, and secured the championship. Way to go guy and gals!
Marcus went 4-4 with some solid d in left center to help Hit em With the D hold on for an 11-7 win.
Steve had himself a night going 7-7 at the plate and holding it down on in the pitching circle.
Steve went 3-3 with some smashing line drives. He also pitched very well, including defense off the mound, in a close 15-11 win against Pitch Don’t Kill My Vibe.
