Nick Schroeder has earned Player of the Week with his great defensive play at first. Everything that came his way he seemed to make a great play on it no matter what. This helped elevate his team to a win the playoffs.
Talis earns Player of the Week honors this week for making one of the most impressive catches ever made on a kickball field. In the middle innings, before the game was decided, a booming kick, with a runner on the bases, went out to centerfield. Talis had the ball in his sights before he slipped and fell, but Talis never gave up and completed the catch while laying on his back! This play prevented a run from scoring and led Pitch Please to victory.
