Patrick was stricken with the all-too-common pulled quad muscle from a cold first kick to start the game.
But like a trooper, Patrick buckled down, played through the pain, and turned in a helluva game.
From shortstop he was asked to cover the entire left side of the infield playing down without a 3B.
Including his solid defensive play, he fought through the injury and kicked clutch kick after another....wincing with each step. Great game Patrick, heal quickly!
