On a rain-soaked Sunday The Slammers faced off The Empty Pitchers for the midcore championship. The game went back and forth the entire time as both teams fought one another, as well as the mud and slippery field conditions caused by the downpour. At the end of seven soaked innings, the teams decided the share the title and be named co-champions.
Our Player of the Game Award goes to The Slammers' Adam Kraft. Adam followed his big 2-RBI triple by scoring the go-ahead run in the top of the 7th.
