The Evil Tangents only had 9 players, when Brandon Chang hurt himself leaving the batter's box. He hurt his lower back, but still managed to lumber to first. Though in obvious pain, Brandon refused to leave the game and leave his team even shorter. He moved from playing third to first base.
In the final inning he delivered a huge RBI double (which he might've been able to stretch into an in-the-park HR if he wasn't so hampered by his injury).
Finally, Brandon made a great defensive play at first. A ball was severely overthrown to first, but Brandon neglected his pain, leaping up an coming down with the catch. Although an out wasn't recorded, he kept the baserunner from advancing on the overthrow.
***An honorable mention for POTW goes to Swing Shift Loco's Rachel Han, who burned the outfielders twice as part of her 4-6 day.
