The Ballers came back to USL to claim what they felt was rightfully theirs. It was with that mindset that they staged a very impressive Opening Day victory over Feed The Hawks. Each team a former champion, Ballerz and Feed The Hawks put on a football clinic on both sides of the ball. Both teams looked to be in mid-season form even though it was only week 1. James Solan took away Player of the Week honors for being the difference maker in the 34-33 win for the Ballerz. When asked about his two decisive Touchdowns, James simply replied "I had to".
