Uppers and Lowers defeated the Aceholes in two sets, securing the first place spot in the league on Wednesday night. However, it wasn’t a walk in the park for Uppers and Lowers, and the road to victory was one full of obstacles.
Right before playoffs, Uppers and Lowers lost a teammate after she moved across the country, causing the rest of the group to battle as a team of 4 in the playoffs, however they did not let this discourage them. Each player brought enough energy and spirit to make up for the two empty spots on the court. Their defense was impeccable, and they left no holes on the court for a ball to drop.
